Relative Performance Evaluation of Public Bus Transit Routes

The CATTS 7th Annual Symposium and TAL 5th Annual Research Day were held jointly on November 4-5, 2024, to showcase the latest research developments. During this online event, I had the privilege of presenting my thoughts on the traditional methods that transit agencies typically use to evaluate service performance. I critiqued these conventional approaches and proposed a new perspective, one that considers performance at the network, segment, and multi-period levels to provide a more comprehensive and meaningful evaluation of transit services.
