🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟
I’m thrilled to share that today I successfully defended my PhD thesis entitled “Optimal Configurations for Urban Transit: A Study on Bus and Express Network Design via Analytical Approaches and Mathematical Programming” in the Civil Engineering program with a specialization in Transportation Engineering at Civil Engineering - Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, and have been honored with a PhD degree for the second time.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my esteemed supervisors, Prof. Saeid Saidi and Prof. S.C. (Chan) Wirasinghe, for their support throughout this program. I also extend my gratitude to my examination committee members: Prof. Nigel Wilson from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Prof. Nigel Waters, Prof. Lina Kattan, Prof. Osman Alp and Prof. Muntasir Billah.
Heartfelt thanks to my family for their support during this journey, especially my wife, Parisa Rajabi, and my beloved son Sam.
